These are our terms and conditions


All the products and appliances for hire are the property of candy ever after and are not to be sold, lent to other people or sub hired. Any time we hire anything out it is done direct through Candy Ever After and no third party are involved.

Safety

Candy ever after and staff are not responsible for any safety issues which may occur from the use of our:
•Equipment,
•Consumables,
•Consumption of confectionery
It is your responsibility to ensure that under no circumstances, any equipment hired is to be moved before, during or after the event by anyone other than Candy Ever After staff.

Hire equipment is strictly for indoor use only unless stated otherwise and has been given permission when booking. Candy ever after have the right to change this on the day if they feel the hire goods or equipment will get damaged. This could be due to weather conditions or predicted conditions also uneven ground.
Please note that if hired equipment is left overnight, arrangements must be made in advance and agreed by customer and venue management in writing to ensure that the necessary insurance is in place.

Children

Customer and guests should ensure that children are suitably supervised to avoid sweets being chosen which could pose a choking risk. This is especially important for children aged 5 years and under. Similar care should also be taken to ensure children’s safety relating to sweet bags and packaging to avoid any risk of suffocation.
We ask that all children are supervised to ensure they are not damaging the cart or decorations added.

Allergies

Please note that some sweets may contain nuts or nut oils, or may have been made alongside other products that contain nuts. Therefore Candy ever after and their staff cannot be held responsible for any issues relating from food allergies. A list of all confectionery ingredients are on the sweet packaging which is left at the venue for any one to refer to. Candy ever after does not allow the customer to add their own sweets to those provided as part of a package, this is for insurance and trace-ability purposes.
If allergies are required then a small letter will be added to the sign, Bare in mind we are not responsible as signs near the sweets can be moved and if not looked at properly then wrong sweets can be chosen.

Making a Booking

Making a booking with Candy ever after denotes that you have read, agreed and understood our terms and conditions. So we kindly ask that you read them carefully, however, if you are unsure about anything please do not hesitate to contact us.

Booking Deposit

A £50 Refundable deposit is required upon booking to secure your event date and time and the outstanding balance is due 14 days prior to your event, full payment date to be given on the booking confirmation. Booking will be confirmed in writing once the deposit has been received. You will receive a invoice for this including the price set by candy ever after.
All deposits are fully refundable unless there is damaged to the property of candy ever after or exceeds normal use this is.
•Deep scratches/Dents
•Broken or missing appliances, candy cart, wheels, scoops, bag holder, handles, decorations
•Broken or damaged containers. Glass/plastic.
•Lost or missing items
Missing or damaged items will be charged at their full replacement value candy ever after will inform you of any damages with the inventory and photographic evidence.
Invoice will be sent out if any damages exceed the deposit amount. This is to be paid within 14 days.
Full inventory will be left on set up and ticked off on pick up.
You will not receive the deposit if cancelled 14 days prior to the event date.
Refund will be given 1-3 working days after the event.
No credits or refunds will be issued for returned unused confectionery or consumables.


Additional information

Under no circumstances can the customer attach there own banners or decorations to any equipment supplied.
Hired equipment must not be used by your guests to leave their drinks glasses on, as this may result in the equipment being permanently water damaged or stained.

Delivery

Delivery, assembly and collection to and from your chosen venue within a 15 mile radius of B91 West Midlands is included in the hire costs, outside of this radius there will be a charge of 35p per mile. This may be worked out after booking so can be an add on to quote. Candy Ever After is willing to Travel up to 95 miles radius.  

Insurance and Certification

We hold Public Liability Insurance and a City and Guilds Hygiene certificate.

Photography

Unless you ask us not to Candy ever after reserves the right to take photographs of hired equipment at your event for promotional purposes.

Notification

Please note that all prices and equipment descriptions are subject to change without prior notification. When we have received the booking form and you have paid your deposit the original price quoted to you will of course be honored.

Attendance

In the event of circumstances beyond our control resulting in candy ever after being unable to attend your event, such as adverse weather conditions, a full refund but no compensation will be offered.

Venue

It is your responsibility to notify the venue management or wedding co-ordinator of our arrival on the morning of your event and to ensure that there is adequate space for hired equipment. You will also need to notify them when the hired equipment will be collected by us.
By making a booking and paying a refundable deposit to candy ever after for any hire products, goods and equipment you are agreeing to comply with and are bound by these Terms and Conditions. A tick box will be required on the Booking form. candy ever after shall require a ticked and dated booking form or email confirmation agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
